Sorline Solar Irrigation System
Conventional three-phase submersible or surface pumps, normally run on mains electricity or a generator, can now be powered directly from solar panels during the day thanks to today's technology, even in locations without a power grid. The system consists of solar panels, an MPPT power conditioner-motor drive, solar panel mounting structures and, where required, a water tank.
System Features
- Conventional three-phase submersible or surface pumps, normally run on mains electricity or a generator, can be powered by solar panels during the day.
- The system consists of solar panels, an MPPT power conditioner-motor drive, solar panel mounting structures and a water tank.
- The MPPT power conditioner transfers the maximum instantaneous power obtained from the solar panels during the day to the motor drive.
- By varying the pump shaft speed and/or torque according to the instantaneous power supplied, the drive delivers a lower water flow in the morning and evening and a higher flow at midday.
- Water can be used immediately or stored in a tank for irrigation in the evening or at night.
- System design is based on well depth (for submersible pumps), required daily water volume (tons), irrigation season and installation site data.
